Archaeological monitoring was undertaken in advance of groundworks associated with a pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure scheme at Chapel Road, Delgany, Co. Wicklow. The works were located within an already disturbed roadway corridor with adjoining footpaths and verges.

No recorded monuments were directly impacted, although a hall house at Kindlestown (WI008-017) lies c. 113m to the south of the scheme.

Monitoring of all ground disturbance identified no archaeological features, deposits, or artefacts. The stratigraphy comprised modern road build-up and disturbed subsoils. A 20th-century well was uncovered in the vicinity of Beechbrook Park on Chapel Road and was preserved in situ.
