The site is located partly within the zone of notification of Enclosure LH008-081, and lies c. 34m west of the aforementioned Recorded Monument. A total of 3 trenches were excavated across the footprint of the development. The topsoil was a mid-brown silty clay, and the natural varied from an orange clay to a brownish-orange gravel. No archaeological structures, features or deposits were observed or exposed within the trenches.
