A programme of archaeological testing was undertaken at the proposed housing development site at Drumnasillagh, Glenties, County Donegal on 10 September 2026. The topsoil varied in depth across the site from 0.1m to 1m in depth. The natural geology also varied in composition, with bedrock uncovered in some places. All test trenches were excavated as planned and nothing archaeological was identified.
