Archaeological testing of a small area adjacent to a levelled enclosure within a residential development site was carried out. Geophysical survey, a metal detection survey and archaeological testing were carried out on the larger residential site in 2018. The enclosure was not revealed in these investigations and a buffer zone was established around its recorded location. Two additional trenches were excavated in 2026 in the buffer zone to determine if features associated with the enclosure were present. No features associated with the enclosure or any other features or finds were identified.
