No definitive dating evidence was recovered from the investigated features and therefore a chronology cannot be discerned at present. Evidence of former land improvement works was uncovered in the form of drains of various size and type. Similarly, evidence of relict field boundaries is also indicative of land improvement and expansion. This is complimented by evidence of agricultural activity in the form of plough furrows.
