A total of 19 test trenches were excavated across the site, targeting results from a previous geophysical survey (24R0593) and the footprint of the development. Testing has confirmed the presence of two enclosures; enclosure C10 and enclosure C15, with the addition of twenty other features, features C21-C29 located within enclosure C10. C14 is a ditch that runs from enclosure C10 to the inside of enclosure C15. C4 to C9 comprise of pits, ditches and a possible kiln found in Trench 6 at the south of the site. C12 is a possible annex enclosure ditch south of enclosure C10 and ditch C11 was recorded in Trench 9, south of enclosure ditch C10. The features are found at a depth that ranges from 0.3m (northeast of the site) to 1m (Trench 6). A narrow ditch, C20, and possible pit were recorded in Trench 3.
