Eight trenches were excavated across a site proposed for a housing development, to ascertain the archaeological potential of several small anomalies identified in a geophysical survey (24R0577). The site was a large undulating field under short grass, with a pond area on the western side.  No archaeological features were encountered. A metal detector (25R0137) ) was used on the spoil from the trenches. Portion of a rusted iron jews harp was recovered.
