Archaeological Management Solutions (AMS) were engaged to undertake archaeological excavation and subsequent monitoring as a condition of a planning permission. This work followed on from archaeological testing in 2023 (DIER: Stevens 2023), and full excavation of a burnt mound spread in 2024 (Stevens and Malek 2026). Archaeological monitoring of construction groundworks continued and was concluded in May 2025. Monitoring revealed nothing further of archaeological significance or potential.
