The first phase of archaeological monitoring was carried out between the 7-11 October 2024 in Fields 2 and 4. No previously unidentified archaeological features or deposits were uncovered during the programme of monitoring and a report was submitted in November 2024.
Subsequently, the need to carry out further stripping in Field 1 arose. The licence was reactivated on 24/4/2025 and further monitoring of a small triangular area in Field 1 was carried out on 9 and 10 June 2025. This area was also clear of archaeological features.
This report is submitted as an addendum to the original report to include the results of the work in Field 1.
