Archaeological Management Solutions (AMS) were engaged to undertake archaeological monitoring of the enabling groundworks for a proposed schools campus development.

The site contained two burnt mound/fulachtaí fia sites excavated by the author in 2024 (see Poulgour 1 & 2, Kilkenny, DIER 2024:621).

Monitoring revealed nothing of archaeological significance.
