Fifteen trenches were opened across the subject site. A geophysical survey (25R0107 ) has previously been carried out which identified some small anomalies which might be of archaeological potential. No archaeological features were encountered in the test trenching.
The spoil from the trenches was metal detected (licence no. 25R0237 ). A Victorian coin dated 1895 was recovered.
