Archaeological monitoring took place of ground disturbance associated with the development of a lattice support structure and associated services in the townland of Seefin, County Galway. A ringfort (GA104-269), containing a souterrain (GA104-269001) and house site (GA104-269002) are located c. 40m northwest of the development. The monitoring of an access road revealed a stratigraphy of stone fill material overlying natural layers while the area of the compound had sod and topsoil over rock and an orange brown silty clay. Nothing of archaeological significance was encountered in any of the areas monitored.
