A damaged section of the eastern wall of Carrickbrennan Graveyard (RMP DO023-01302) collapsed in February 2024. The wall was probably of 18th-century date based on prior archaeological investigations in 2010 (10E0173). It had been fully recorded by the author prior to collapsing. The area was cleared in preparation for reconstruction. The removal of the wall collapse and foundations and reconstruction of the wall were monitored. No archaeological objects or human remains were encountered during the works.
