Ten small investigative engineering pits were archaeologically monitored at the former Department of Defence site on Infirmary Road, Dublin 7 as part of a proposed development of the former 19th-century Isolation Hospital (NIAH 50070132). No walls, features or deposits predating the early 20th century were identified or impacted by these pits. Similarly, no human remains were identified.
