Archaeological monitoring involving the supervision of topsoil stripping at a proposed dwelling site was conducted on 16 June 2025. Two separate areas required groundworks and were subsequently subject to archaeological oversight. Both areas exhibited considerable ground disturbance revealing a substantial cut feature containing buried tree stumps, logs, and modern refuse.
No archaeological features or deposits were identified during this monitoring programme.
