Archaeological testing of the site did not uncover anything of archaeological significance, with the Bullaun stone (CV023-054) having been removed in recent history and moved to the adjacent graveyard (CV023-026002) for safekeeping.
During the initial site inspection the licence holder visited the neighbouring medieval church (CV023-026001) and its graveyard (CV023-026002) and on entering the graveyard, as part of a recently landscaped (last 20 years), stone-flanked path, the Bullaun stone (CV023-054) was apparent incorporated into the stone flanking on the left hand side of the path.
