Archaeological monitoring (unlicenced) was carried out as part of the fulfilment of a planning condition attached to the grant of planning permission for a proposed development at Donore Road, Drogheda, Co. Meath submitted to Meath County Council.
Archaeological monitoring of groundworks on the site was carried out over several days. The natural was a compact, mid-orangish brown boulder clay with occasional small subangular stones.
No archaeological features, deposits or artefacts were found during the monitoring of the site.
