Three trenches were excavated and nothing of archaeological significance was recorded. Monitoring of topsoil stripping and ground works took place in July and August 2024 under an extension to the original licence.

Topsoil and rubble was removed from the entire area of the development. Particular attention was paid to the north-east corner of the site could not be tested due to constraint. Topsoil varied in depth between 0.3m and 0.6m. The topsoil was overlying natural subsoil of light yellowish-gray silty clay. No evidence of the townland boundary was noted in this area during these works.
