Archaeological monitoring was undertaken of topsoil stripping of part of a housing development at ‘Radharc Cillín’, Kilfinanne, Co. Limerick. Part of the site was not available for examination as stone had been laid on the stripped ground prior to the contractor requesting archaeological monitoring. In the area monitored topsoil directly overlay natural geological deposits of glacial till.
The site had previously been archaeologically tested (22E0496), the stratigraphy observed in monitoring correlated with observed stratigraphy noted in the earlier testing. No archaeological features, deposits or artefacts were encountered
