Archaeological testing at the site in 2024 did not identify any features of archaeological potential. The topsoil consisted of dark sandy clay with frequent tree roots averaging 0.4m in depth, over ploughsoil horizon comprising mid-orange brown sandy clay, c. 0.3m in depth. Subsoil comprised orange sandy clay with patches of soft sandy brown material with loose gravel. The north of the site appeared to have been previously disturbed with waste and debris present in the topsoil.
Monitoring within the development area did not identify any features or deposits of archaeological significance.
