Excavation carried out along the proposed section of the Tralee Northern Relief Road, from Listellick South to Forge Cross, uncovered three main features: partial remains of two shallow prehistoric burnt spreads, or fulachtaí fia (C006 and C008), which dated to the Early to Middle Bronze Age, and a modern 19th-century brick clamp (C007).

Four sherds of late 18th–20th-century pottery (23E0677:25:1–4) were recovered from the brick clamp (C007), confirming its modern origin.
