An archaeological monitoring was undertaken in the vicinity of the ecclesiastical complex (Church KE020-046001- and Cathedral KE020-046002-) at Ardfert, Co. Kerry, which is a National Monument in the ownership of the Minister of Housing, Local Government and Heritage (no. 54). The work was carried out under Ministerial Consent C01346 and Registration number E005672. Monitoring on the same scheme, outside the area of the National Monument, was carried out under Excavation Licence 24E0036 (Rondelez 2024).

No remains of archaeological significance were encountered during the course of monitoring.
