Two possible archaeological features were identified during monitoring of the GI works at St Teresa's Gardens, Donore Avenue, Dublin 8. The monitoring took place between 20 March 2024 and 3 April 2024.
The potential archaeological features comprised a spread of blackish-grey silty clay, 2m in width in TP243, at a depth of 1.5m below present ground level (BPGL). The second area of archaeological potential was at the location on TP03 where three parallel linear features which were approximately 0.6m in width ran across the trench and were exposed at 2m BPGL.
