Archaeological testing on the site of a proposed housing development was undertaken on 11 & 12 April 2024. A total of six test trenches were excavated across the site. Some of the test trenches were adjusted slightly to account for ground conditions, including uneven bedrock, boulders protruding from the natural subsoil and natural springs.

Nothing archaeological was identified in any of the trenches excavated.
