Archaeological testing was carried out using a mechanical excavator fitted with a flat grading bucket. The work was carried out in advance of a planned extension to an existing recycling facility. Extensions to four trenches were carried out due to the presence of potential archaeological features. These were tested and determined to be stone sockets and natural rooting activity. No features of archaeological significance were identified during the evaluation.
