A number of features were identified during archaeological monitoring across three fields which form part of a large residential development. The largest concentration of features included seven pits, two shallows pits/depressions containing cremated remains, a single post-hole and a number of stake-holes all extending across an area measuring approximately 7m by 7m. A broken saddle quern was found in one of the pits; no other finds were recovered. Approximately 170m to the northwest three small pits containing cremated remains were found in a rough line 5.5m long. No associated finds were identified. Two small isolated patches of in-situ burning were also found.
