Archaeological monitoring of topsoil removal was carried out during development. Eight small features were identified during the monitoring of which seven were in close proximity and the eighth was isolated and approximately 100m to the north. The isolated pit was a rounded shallow feature 0.9m diameter x 0.2m deep. The seven features were closely clustered; two were evenly cut rounded pits (0.6m diameter and 0.35m deep and 0.7m x 0.6m x 0.3m deep) and the others were irregular and generally quite shallow and of limited significance.
