Nine trenches were excavated across two curving anomalies identified as potential enclosures in a geophysical survey. The test trenching verified the presence of archaeological features indicating the presence of two separate semi-circular ditches (Anomaly 5 at the west and Anomaly 9 240m to its east), the southern portion of both cut by a field boundary and farm trackway. The curving ditch of the western enclosure (2.3m to 3.5m wide) was identified as well as a probable post-hole and two linear features, possible slot trenches. The curving ditch of the eastern enclosure (1.7m to 2.5m wide) was identified; no associated features were revealed.
