In 2024, Templebreedy SOS was granted further funding under the Community Monuments Funding (CMF) and Dr Alan Hawkes was nominated as the consulting archaeologist for this new phase of works. The works included the completion of the internal paths, the removal of a large mound of rubble from the north-facing side of the church, and the erection of information signage at three designated points in the graveyard. The pits needed to accommodate the posts would require hand excavation to be conducted by the archaeologist under licence from the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.

No archaeological material was uncovered in the course of the monitoring of the rubble removal at the northern side of the church or during excavation of the four pits for the associated sign posts.
