Archaeological monitoring occurred in two phases. The first was that of the removal of soil deposits abutting the remains of a tower-house, the collection and recording of architectural fragments and development of a conservation management plan.
The second phase invloved the monitoring of grounworks in relation to a single house development and associatesd site works, which had been preceded by archaeological test excavation.
Eleven architectural fragments were retrieved and recorded from the material abutting the tower-house.
No archaeology was encountered within the footprint of the development.
