A programme of archaeological monitoring of topsoil stripping for a proposed development associated with Midleton GAA was planned in Park South townland under an extension and transfer of licence no. 19E0359. For earlier associated works, see https://excavations.ie/report/2019/Cork/0033142/

All ground reduction works were carried out prior to the licence holder being notified. Inspection of the site after the completion of the topsoil stripping did not reveal any material of archaeological significance.
