Eight trenches were opened across the site, to assess the nature of geophysical anomalies identified during geophysical survey (24R0467), and to carry out a general assessment of the site. No archaeological features were identified. Metal detection (24R0574) of the spoil from the trenches took place. No artefacts were recovered.
