Archaeological monitoring was undertaken during pipe laying associated with the rehabilitation of watermains at Summerhill, in Clonroad Beg townland, Ennis, Co. Clare. The entirety of the proposed works lay within the Historic town of Ennis (RMP CL033-082----). No archaeological features, deposits or artefacts were observed during the course of the works.
