Archaeological test excavation to assess the archaeological significance of site in advance of the erection of an agricultural storage shed (Shed 1), the erection of agricultural cattle storage shed with a slatted tank (Shed 2), new farmyard, new entrance and lane off the existing laneway leading to public road and associated works took place on 30 September 2023. This was preceded by an archaeological impact assessment report in 2022.
Two test trench were excavated within the footprint of the proposed development and achieved depths consistent with the underlying natural subsoil.
No archaeology was encountered.
