A total of seven trenches with a total length of 176m were excavated within the footprint of the proposed development site at Lugduff, Tinahely, Co. Wicklow. The trenches were excavated by an 8-tonne machine with a flat, grading bucket, to natural ground or the top of archaeological features if encountered first. No archaeological features were uncovered in any of the test trenches excavated.
