Archaeological test excavation following from an impact assessment of a greenfield site scheduled for housing development at Park (Stonybatter townland), took place on 30 November and 1 December 2023.
In all, eleven test trenches, totalling 630m, were mechanically excavated to the surface of the underlying natural subsoil, under archaeological supervision.
No archaeology was encountered.
