Archaeological monitoring of Irish Water’s Treated Water Storage Programme (TWSP) to provide increased storage capacity within the Sow Water supply Zone through the installation of 2 precast concrete tanks and associated mechanical and electrical services and ancillary services took place from 15 September to 5 October 2023.
It involved archaeological monitoring of the preliminary topsoil stripping to the surface of the underlying subsoil. No archaeology was encountered.
