An archaeological assessment was carried out in the townland of Nonsuch, Castlepollard, County Westmeath. 79 test trenches, 2907 linear meters, were excavated at the site of an approved solar farm. Two features, a possible trough or pit measuring c. 5m north-south by 1.3m, and a burnt mound measuring c. 5.8m east-west by 5m were identified. No other archaeological features were uncovered.
