Pre development archaeological testing was requested by Waterford County Council to assess the potential impact of the proposed construction of a milking parlour and cubicle shed in Garrynageragh East, Dungarvan. The development is located between two levelled enclosures. The possible remnant of a ditch was exposed at the location of a proposed hard stand area in the farmyard. Three test trenches were excavated across the area proposed for the construction of the milking parlour and the cubicle shed and nothing of archaeological significance was exposed.
