An Archaeological Impact Assessment (AIA) of proposed farm redevelopment works at St. Johnstown, Fethard was undertaken as part of seeking planning permission to build a milking parlour and undertake associated site works. The requirement for the AIA was due to the fact the site is located within the constraint area of a Deer Park (TS062-056).
A total of three test trenches were sited on the imprint of the proposed works, two at either end and one through the centre. No archaeological remains and/or features were uncovered.
