Monitoring of construction groundworks was at Mount Avenue, Dundalk, Co. Louth, following test excavations undertaken in 2020 (2020:531; 20E0344). No archaeological features, layers or deposits were recorded in the course of monitoring. Works at the northern end of the scheme and in the vicinity of Castletown Motte (LH007-118007) were undertaken under a separate Ministerial Consent.
