Monitoring of construction groundworks was undertaken under Ministerial Consent C000994 (Excavation Reg: E005288) in the vicinity of Castletown Motte, following test excavations undertaken in 2020 (2020:531; 20E0344). No archaeological features, layers or deposits were recorded in the course of monitoring. Works will resume in Spring 2024.
