An archaeological assessment was carried out in the townland of Clonconane, County Limerick to the south of Old Cratloe Road (L3102). Thirteen test trenches, 453 linear metres, were excavated across the footprint of the area proposed for development. The testing uncovered one archaeological feature, a circular small pit or post-hole with a charcoal-rich fill and a diameter of 0.41m. No other archaeological features were identified within the test trenches.
