An archaeological assessment was carried out in the townland of Clonconane, County Limerick. Eleven test trenches, 422 linear meters, were excavated across an area of proposed development to the north of Old Cratloe Road (L3102).
The testing uncovered one archaeological feature, a burnt mound, measuring c. 7m east-west by 23m north-west-south-east. No other archaeological features were identified within the test trenches.
