Archaeological pre-development testing trenching was carried out 23 March 2023. The excavations found that the proposed works will have not have any negative impact on any recorded features of archaeological significance in the area of the site. The stratigraphy encountered in the course of the test excavations revealed sod and topsoil overlying a 20th-century fill and the natural clay.
