Archaeological monitoring was carried out during the topsoil stripping prior to construction works at the site of the planned primary school at Kishogue, Balgaddy, Co. Dublin and adjacent to Kishogue Community College. Topsoil at the site varied in depth from 200mm to 450mm, with a stoney subsoil, overlain by a stiff, brown, sticky clay in places. Modern refuse was observed in disturbed areas along the edge of the site. No finds, deposits, or features of archaeological significance were identified during the monitoring.
