Archaeological testing was carried out in advance of the development of a residential development at Ratoath Road and Gallanstown Road in Hollystown, Dublin 15. The site is within the demesne of Hollywoodrath house (a protected structure, RPS Ref. 665), a detached seven-bay two-story house dated to c.1830. Archaeological testing took place on 5 June 2023. Eight test trenches were opened across the site, with no features, finds or deposits of archaeological significance were identified during the course of testing.
