Archaeological monitoring of groundworks associated with a permitted development at Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone, Plot T5, Laughanstown, Dublin 18 took place in December 2023.  It follows on from a comprehensive programme of test trenching undertaken in 2020 across the entire development area.

Groundworks comprised the stripping of topsoil across the permitted development area. Monitoring observed evidence of previous modern disturbance and no archaeological finds or features were identified.
