Only one area within the development site boundary, designated as land ‘Parcel 3’, was suitable for geophysical survey and testing due to previous ground disturbances. Geophysical survey carried out in February 2023 (Licence No. 23R0043) did not record any anomalies of potential archaeological significance. Testing was also carried out within the same month  across the available area using a mechanical excavator fitted with a flat grading bucket. Four trenches, measuring 360 linear metres, were excavated, but did not reveal any archaeological remains. Furthermore, previous investigations to the immediate east, southeast and south have not identified any archaeological remains.
