Archaeological testing was carried out over the course of two days from 17 October 2023 at Kishoge, Clonburris SDZ (Tile 6), County Dublin. The western extent of the development site underwent monitoring prior to the construction of the car park in 2019, but nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered. There are no recorded monuments located within the proposed development lands.
Testing was carried out using a mechanical excavator fitted with a flat, grading bucket. Topsoil consisted of a mid-brown clayey sand with an average depth of 0.4m. Subsoil consisted of firmly compacted mottled brown orange clay with frequent stones throughout. Four test trenches were excavated across the site and revealed no areas of archaeological potential.
